St. John Golf Club is the oldest private golf club associated with a public golf course in America, and has been in existence since 1920.
Our membership is extremely diverse, and includes professionals, blue and white collar workers, laborers, and retirees.
Since Hurricane Katrina in 2005, St. John Golf Club's activities have been limited to monthly tournaments at various local golf courses, along with an annual crayfish boil and officer's installation banquet. Our club is now looking to increase its membership and once again become a major part of the New Orleans golfing community. We invite everyone to submit an application for membership to our organization, and join us in enjoying this great game of golf that we love.
